BIOGRAPHY

Growing up in a musical family, Jonathan has been fascinated with all aspects of the artform from an early age. He started writing in early high school, creating and arranging pieces for his marching band-mates, where he played the tenor trombone - and he also began learning the nuances of digital audio creation. This turned into somewhat of an obsession, and going on to attend the University of Oklahoma on the National Merit scholarship, he received a degree in Music Composition under the instruction of Dr. Marvin Lamb, graduating with distinction in 2012.

During those years he wrote both for the OKC student film circuit as well as his electronic side project - PrototypeRaptor. This project has taken him around the country performing shows and has generated over 4 million streams to date, 8 albums, and numerous remixes and singles.

After graduation he has focused on his production and composition endeavors while living in Dallas, Texas. Working closely with the music library scoreAscore, among others, his custom music and library track creations have led to placements for many major brands.

He has also written several original motion picture soundtracks for director Nick Sanford, produced and co-wrote tracks for artists in the pop, rap, and electronic field, and worked on diverse custom projects ranging from a futuristic radio drama score for the "Halo 5" advertising campaign to the theme song for the University of Oklahoma Flight School's mascot, Sooney.

All this third person talk to say - I live and breathe music, and as long as you have a vision and the drive to get there, I'd be honored to have you as a client.

Cheers to 2022!
